Susan Roberts is a Senior Software Engineer at Invite Education, coming to the tech industry after spending several years working in the field of food chemistry. Driven by a lifelong enjoyment of puzzles and problem solving, she was quickly drawn to the sciences during high school.
Susan went on to earn a B.S. in Chemistry from Northeastern University. Combining her technical background with a personal love of cooking, she decided to pursue food chemistry and subsequently attended the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts to round out her professional skill set.
Her interest in programming was initially sparked when an operational problem at work led her to learn JavaScript. She quickly fell in love with programming and chose to solidify her skills by attending Launch Academy as an apprentice Full Stack Developer before officially joining the Invite Education team.
In her free time, Susan continues to enjoy cooking and solving puzzles, alongside gardening and going hiking with her two dogs.
