Mary Nickeson is a marketing and college financial planning professional with 25 years of experience and a proven track record for developing successful programs for leading financial services companies. She possesses deep experience in the 529 college savings arena alongside a strong working knowledge of the financial aid process, the education loan market, and emerging trends in the retirement market.
Most recently, Mary led DST's College Planning Solutions group. In this position, she was responsible for providing clients with mobile-friendly college planning applications and specialized consulting services. She concurrently served as the dedicated product owner for all financial planning calculators within the platform ecosystem.
Prior to her leadership tenure at DST, Mary established her executive track record serving as vice president at Archimedes and Wealth Management Systems Inc.
Mary received her B.A. from the University of New Hampshire and went on to earn an M.S. in Communication Management from Simmons University.
Her advanced academic background further includes a Graduate Certificate in Administration and Management from Harvard University. Additionally, she completed formalized graduate-level studies in management and education at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study and Boston College respectively.
