Chelsea Harmon is a Senior Software Engineer at Invite Education, where she works across the full stack to design and build reliable, well-architected web applications. Over her three years with the team, her skills have grown considerably, from writing clean, maintainable code to thinking critically about product functionality and contributing thoughtful input on technical decisions.
Outside of her work at Invite, Chelsea serves on the board of a local nonprofit, where she is leading a full-stack rewrite of its website and backend systems, which has given her hands-on experience directing a project from architecture through implementation.
Chelsea transitioned into software engineering from a career in nonprofit event planning and administration, completing Launch Academy’s full-stack development apprenticeship program before joining Invite Education.
Outside of her professional engineering work, Chelsea spends her time on the beaches near Boston. She also enjoys learning French, hiking around New England, and trying out new vegetarian recipes.
